Those have to be in the all-time Top Five Trek Episodes from any series.

And if you say otherwise, you have to drink a thermos full of snot.

1. + Eleventy million
"The Offspring" is easily in my top 5 all-time TNG episodes. It's brilliantly acted, and brilliant directed. On top of that, it's a very interesting, moving story.

2. I hadn't seen it in years; it's remarkably poignant

3. Yesterday's Enterprise one of the best of all the Trek shows.
Maybe the new ST movie can generate a good series now. ST:Enterprise just about killed it.

4. The ST:ENT *finale* just about killed it
I actually liked the series quite a bit, though I acknowledge that it had a few stinkers during its run.

6. I forgive Enterprise its finale.
When you're under the gun of cancellation, and you have to wrap things up in a hurry, the strain shows.

But I really liked the series, too.

7. The episode just before the finale should have been the finale
I agree that they were under the gun, but Berman/Bragga turned the ENT finale into a TNG footnote. Jolene Blalock correctly described it as "appalling."

5. They're showing the series in sequence, it seems; season three in general was awesome
"The Enemy" and "The Defector" are other awesome season three episodes.
