and make a better movie for half the budget that sci-fi (or rather 'sy-fy' or whatever the (*&% they're calling themselves now) do.

*edit* Of course, I could also take 1/10th of that budget and just make a porno and probably make my money back. :P

8. Exactly.
All it takes is a willingness to realize that yes, you don't have a big-budget movie. So treat it accordingly, and make sure the audience can enjoy it.

As opposed to the sci-fi original crap, which is so bad that it passes beyond the 'so bad its good' threshold and just goes all the way back to bad again.
