Good evening Lounge
:7 :hi:

How is your day going? Not to make you jealous but I had the afternoon off and spent it on my balcony reading. And then I had gnocchi with butter and sage for dinner :9

So can you top that day? :D

She was 88. Lived a good life. My friend drove up from Baltimore, so at least I get to see her.

12. It's a repeat of an infection/virus I got after donating platelets at Walter Reed
Army Hospital.

So, it's a bad cold that lasts about twice as long.

The weather here is beautiful and I wish I had the energy to be out in it. I'm glad you got out.

What were you reading? I start every day reading out doors. This morning a book of interviews of Russian economic and political leaders who were in power in the '90s.

I'm going to start "A Summer of Hummingbirds: Love, Art, and Scandal in the Intersecting Worlds of Emily Dickenson, Mark Twain, Harriet Beecher Stowe and Martin Johnson Heade"

I finished a German mystery novel. And I started a book about the Iran. A guy visited the country and tells about his travel as well as the history of the Iran.

29. Yes, she is feeling much, much better
And she has not watched one bit of that Disney channel trash that she usually rots her brain with. I told her that if she stayed home, she had to do/watch smart stuff. So far she has composed a couple of tunes on the clarinet, written and illustrated her own short story and sat outside for a little while too. :thumbsup"

33. Good evening.
We had rumbly thunder all day and I'm afraid of lightning, which curtailed my outdoor activities.

But I did work in my garden and went snorkeling this afternoon for a short while. Mostly, I sat on the porch and read. I also watched the French Open a bit.

For dinner I had some homegrown tomatoes with some fresh mozzarella.

Tudo bem MissHoneychurch? :hi:
