DU News Projection: Big Ten Tournament

Michigan leads Iowa 32-25 at the half.

Based on those results (with 50% of the game completed) and our exit polls showing Michigan being the superior team anyway, DU News is ready to project a winner in the Michigan-Iowa game.

Home of the UND Fighting Sioux college hockey team. Ever heard of them??? Best arena in college hockey??? Number 1 in the nation???

Now, even though I go to NDSU (And the Sioux used to be our big rival, but not anymore, since we moved to D-I), I occasionally here and there will cheer for the Sioux hockey team. Only because 1) NDSU will NEVER have a hockey program, and 2) They're not our rivals anymore, and I need my local hockey fix. NDSU and UND alums/fans are generally united as North Dakotans behind UND hockey.

See you in the Frozen Four.

And BTW, the Jets WILL be back.

8. I also am sorry about UVA losing!

I just subscribed to the Yahoo streaming service so that my friday could be enhanced by hearing Dook lose. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Oh well. ACC b-ball rocks!!

9. The Big Ten's had an off year

Barring a surprise team getting hot, all they'll get is Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan State.

The ACC Tournament is awesome this year. NC State/FSU and Wake Forest/Maryland should be great games tonight.
