Southern California is having the most bizarre weather
We have had unseasonably gray, cloudy and cool weather for a few weeks. Well, today it is raining, then sunny, now it is sunny AND raining.

and it thundered a bit ago.

If you don't know, this time of year is usually nothing but sunshine - for about 7 months. Really. It should NOT be raining today.

Weird.

1. Meanwhile, it hasn't rained in Seattle in over two weeks.
Weird indeed.

3. Hey, it's been cloudy and cool with passing showers up here in the SF Bay area this week..
Unusual for June to say the least. My garden's loving the extra water.

4. Strange in NYC too
May was wetter and a little cooler than usual. The first few days of June are proving to be wet and cool too.

13. I'm down in SE Pennsylvania - we had rain off and on for about 2 weeks,
have more coming up with a break for the weekend.
Often chilly mornings, hot and humid by late afternoon.

8. Yeah, it's freaking freezing here. We're going to get one nice day on Friday before
it gets shitty, cold and rainy again. Hell, if I wanted this I'd move to Seattle. At least with the rain you get beautiful mountains and the ocean.

9. Here in the DC area,
we hit mid-July weather yesterday - incredibly humid, so muggy you want to faint, and 89 degrees.

Thunderstorms tonight have cooled it off, but it's gonna go right back up there in a couple of days.

It's 'way too early for it to be this hot this early....................

11. It was sprinkling where I was.
I just saw a flash out my window. Then thunder that lasted for...probably 20 seconds. That was weird.

12. Not much rain here but the lightning is out of control.
Flashes every 3-5 seconds for the past half hour. It just now seems to be easing up a bit, maybe 5-10 seconds between flashes.

16. La Nina perhaps?
They say it is going to be a different summer than the past couple of summers. Here in Florida we're looking at a wetter than usual summer (which is probably good for the water tables and drought relief). We went from no rain for two months to two weeks of almost constant rain.
