A thread for all those who have not been invited to be in any cliques:
What is your post to response ratio? That is, how many posts do you make per response. Mine is around 30. I'm just along for the ride.

13. Here's a lesson I learned from raising chickens:
The pecking order NEVER goes from # 1 to #20. It's always #1 to #2. We are so far down the list we are guaranteed to be survivors of the popularity wars in the lounge!

14. Yep. In theory, if you post something, people respond...
for those of us on the B list, we post many many times before any one responds. In my example,I post 30 times or so for each response I get.

17. Shhh. Here's a secret. To get a lot of responses, post a....
"Hometown callout" Put that in the subject line, then in the body put "Name your hometown, and I'll let you know if I've heard of it." I did that a year ago and it got over 1200 replies over 5 days. Go ahead, do it, you'll have a blast.

23. I didnt used to get much response.
I'm still no Suave. I don't do many Op's, but the last couple have gotten a dozen or so replies. Its hard to miss when it comes to wishing to own a real working light saber, though.

Sometimes I wonder what it would like to be "popular". Or to be one of the "call me" crowd. But then I reflect, and realize someone gave me a star, and I feel just fine. Whoever done it, it means a lot.
