An animal rights group wants to buy an old Wisconsin lighthouse and use it as a "fish empathy center."

The Kewaunee Pierhead Lighthouse has been listed as a property eligible to go to a non-profit or government entity by the National Park Service.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals says it wants the lighthouse to teach people that fish have emotions, personalities and feel pain.

The group wants to create educational displays and have a cafe that serves faux fish sticks and other fish friendly foods.
