Omg! It's Barefoot Week!

Want an excuse to go to work barefoot?

Soles 4 Souls is collecting shoes. Seems like a pretty practical charity.

Soles4Souls, Inc., the international shoe charity dedicated to providing a free pair of shoes to people in need, announced its schedule for Barefoot Week 2009 today. The non-profit organization will be distributing thousands of pairs of new shoes in the United States while it also collects "gently worn" shoes from the general public during thousands of concurrent shoe drives at schools, churches and community centers.

I thought about those in the city showing up to work barefoot when I first heard about it.

I mostly thought of board meetings and presentations though :P
