Poll question: Proper way to play (Klondike) solitaire?
Turning three cards at once to the waste, either allowing three passes through the deck or placing no limit on passes through the deck.

Turning only one card at a time, but only passing through the deck once.

2. I learned 3 cards 3 passes.
But a Hoyle book I found lists 1 card 1 pass as the rule, with 3 cards 3 passes as a variation.

Amazingly, the percentage of winnable games (playing Draw 3, Re-Deal Infinite) is between 82 and 91.5%. I challenge anyone to come even close to those results. It can't be done because it involves passing on plays in order to avoid dead ends and the only way to know which plays to pass on would require knowledge of all the cards.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klondike_(solitaire)#Odds_of_winning

However, the odds of winning a standard game of Klondike are currently unknown. It has been said that the inability for theoreticians to calculate these odds is "one of the embarrassments of applied mathematics"
