I love pop rock too and these two world powers are among the best there are in that musical dimension.

1. Had to go with XTC...
they have been consistently good. 10cc kinda went downhill, IMHO, after Godley and Creme left.

2. What was the name of that XTC album that had someone in a diving
suit and helmet on the cover? That's the first one I bought a long time ago, but I was into them earlier than that.

OTOH, I've always been into 10 c.c., I voted for them. Quite a bit of work from those guys, plus they have a very funny attitude.

Even though 10cc was not the same band after Godley and Creme left. I love their solos stuff, especially Snack Attack.

12. XTC's Andy Partridge did the theme for Wonderfalls
the new TV show that premiered tonight... not sure about the series, but a nice tune. Get it on the Apple Music store for 99 cents.

XTC's English Settlement is simply one of the 10 best albums ever made.

13. Skylarking! Todd Rundgren-produced, you know...
One of my "desert Island" records.

I went with XTC...they are one of the most under-appreciated bands out there (although I don't *love* Apple Venus or Wasp Star).
