I have already endured my first sunburn (and hopefully my last) of the season. As it turns out, SPF 30 doesn't do much when you don't apply it to the very edge of your bathing suit or your hair line. Later that night I discovered the red outline of my bathing suit and the "burn tiara" on the top of my forehead. Dead sexy. :eyes:

Actually so far it hasn't been too bad here in Texas, but that's fixin' to change..........

There are many endearing things about Texas for those of us from here and for those who live here. Summers and the prevailing Red State perspective ARE NOT among them.

Texas is not a particularly good place to experience the Global Warming phenomenon since it was toasty here BEFORE the global thermostat tilted sharply upwards.
