Are your dreams so unsettling you find relief in wakefulness
lately it has been so. maybe that is the unconsciousness unwinding itself . Even happy dreams have an uneasiness about them , making you appreciate the clear light of day.

1. Totally, all the time. My subconscious doesn't seem to like me much.
Even last night's dream, which was more or less a "good" one (not so common for me), seemed weird and uncomfortable as soon as it ended.

2. My dreams tend to revolve around spaceships and/or extremely kinky sex.
Both good things IMO.

3. After my mom passed away last year, I would have the most horrible, vivid
nightmares. I dreaded going to bed every night. No matter how much I tried to stop thinking about things during the day, my brain wouldn't let me escape the grief at night.

It's much better now. Grieving is a process, plain and simple. You're going to go through it one way or another.
