A pathologic Q-Wave followed by a Premature Ventricular Contraction. That means at some point in the past, he/she had a heart attack, and currently has some irregular cardiac conductivity. Why would someone use that in an advertisement?

4. Oh, just practicing my EKG interpretation...
We had our Tech Skills exam today. The EKG examples sucked! Very hard to read. We're learning the material the old-fashioned way, with no hints or anything. Every EKG worth its diodes these days prints out a diagnosis right on the paper for you, but we're learning how to interpret the data for ourselves. That's kinda cool! B-)

Ack!

I have the ads turned off, and I can't see it!

PVC's don't necessarily mean a heart attack, although with a pathologic Q-wave, it might...

I hope I haven't forgotten everything I once knew!

7. No, you're right. PVC's don't mean an MI. I was just commenting on what that fakey EKG rhythm
would look like to someone who knows a thing or two about cardiac conductivity. B-)

Non-medical people think if you just draw a bunch of squiggly lines, you have an EKG...
