Ever feel like you want to get in your car, get on the interstate, and just keep on going?

I've got that feeling again lately.

1. Not any more. Things aren't any better "out there." Trust me.
Hope your problems work themselves out soon and today is a better day than yesterday.

4. Thank you. I'm not going to actually DO it, but it seems like an appealing idea. nt

2. Yes.
I'd head northeast to the cooler, friendlier confines of my home stomping grounds.

3. Yep. Done it about three years ago
I got sick of my life and made a whimsical decision to take a cross country road trip to my aunt's in Georgia. It was one of the best few weeks of my life - I felt free.

7. I did that once. I ended up in Key West.
I ran out of road so I turned around and went home.

8. Quite a drive, isn't it?
When you're in Key West you're closer to Havana than Miami.

12. Yes it was interesting
And it turned out to be one of the things that influenced my decision to be a trucker. I didn't even get out of the car in Key West. I went back the other direction to Marathon Key and stayed there for a couple of days. I have a story about it. It was a very pleasant experience, except for those damned mosquitoes. :)

11. My sister did that once
bad thing was, she forgot to tell anybody.

My father spent a fortune in private investigators trying to find her. She came to the end of the road in Key West, Florida and thats where she was found - six months after she "disappeared".

13. Actually, yes. I've daydreamed about driving from sea to shining sea.
Start here in Florida at the Atlantic and don't stop until I hit Santa Monica Pier. And check out all the different sites along the way. Just me and my lonesome.

But with family and work and such I can't do that.

14. Wouldn't help me much where I live
If I get in my car in the morning and drive straight in any direction, I end up, by midnight at the latest,

1.) at the North Sea
2.) at the Baltic Sea
3.) at the Mediterranean Sea
4.) at the Atlantic Coast of either France or Spain
5.) in the Balkans near the Black Sea
or
6.) at the Russian border
