What's for dinner, DU?
:hi:

I am making spaghetti and meatballs, with homemade meatballs and homemade sauce. :9

How about y'all?

2. not sure yet, but maybe whole wheat rotini with caramelized onions and blue cheese
might add some mushrooms in there too.

Or not. I am feeling kinda lazy today too, so maybe a sandwich instead.

10. Sandra Lee is on Food Network
She has this show called Semi-Homemade, which means "take crap out of packages and throw it all together"...Ugh.

But, a focal point of her shows is "cocktail time!!!"

She's totally on the sauce. :D

:)

22. Why buy a bottle of soy sauce when the packets are free and already measured to 1 tablespoon each?

18. This isn't recipe I use, but I can't remember it off the top of my head.
This is close enough.

Oil
3 whole chicken breasts, split to make 6 skinned & boned, flattened
Salt & pepper
Flour, just enough to coat chicken
24 asparagus spears, cooked tender crisp
Crab meat (fresh or imitation)
Hollandaise sauce (use package if you like)

Dust pounded chicken breasts with seasoned flour. Saute until done in a little oil. Place cooked chicken in baking pan. Put asparagus on each side, divide crab evenly on top of each chicken breast. Spoon Hollandaise on top of crab and asparagus. Place under broiler until bubbly and slightly browned. Serve with new potatoes.
Makes 6 servings.

21. PB&J. Series.
I need something light, cheap, and easy...but I'm only feeding myself, so it was that or cereal. If I was feeling ambitious (and like standing in front of a hot stove) it would be spaghetti.
