any pointers on how to do it? I'd like to incorporate it into a post.

1. Just upload the image to your server and place the URL in your post

For instance, if you were to type http:// www.rocknation.tv/ Graphics/ headbang.gif without the spaces, you'd get

7. If your yahoo uses geocities , it will not show up here

geocities, angelfire,tripod and other "free" sites will not allow remote linking..:(

sometimes when people link directly to another site without uploading to their own web place, the one whose bandwidth is being used, will change the picture linked to something disgusting.. The person who copied the original picture of a cute little puppy does not even know that the picture has been changed to a large naked guy.. People then alert to the obnoxious picture and the whole thing gets deleted.. This has happened here before.. I don't know that it happened this time, but it's one possibility :)
