I AM psychic!

I dreamed about Eliza Dushku's boobies this morning, and I just got some awesome news.

My daughter got her dream job! She is gonna be a breastfeeding consultant for the county.

Lactation Consultant is better than what I actually said it to her when she told me.

Now if she can just find someone she trusts to kidsit. She has near a month to do so.

She lives over an hour away. I did suggest his other grandpa who lives about a mile away, but she is nervous. I told her to just lay down the law as a mom and he'd do fine. I also suggested she do a few practice days before the job.

She'll figure it out. If she still can't do it you KNOW I'll be there for her :)

Short term disability has run out. Public assistance has stopped again because they keep insisting I should be in a work program earning my benefits, but if I could work I would still have my old job. The appeal to fix this problem will take a few more weeks before I can get my benefits restored, and this keeps happening repeatedly, so public assistance is unreliable and not enough to make much difference anyway.

We all keep hearing about welfare queens living high off of government money. How? I'm spending entire days at a time waiting, endlessly waiting to appeal to one supervisor after another to provide more and more documentation to keep the minimal help I get.

I swear, anyone who thinks that anyone lives well on public assistance is too filled with hated and delusions to see reality. But I'd sure love to be living in that delusion.

It does suck hog bawls trying to get it all in place. What sucks even more is that once it is all in place it might only be enough to merely survive on.

Simply surviving is a sucky way to go through the day. You have friends that love you though. That is always great, me included.

Somehow I have to find some solutions. Unfortunately, it's getting harder and harder for me to physically get out of the house and get around. So how much can I do if I can't get anyplace?
