How long should a lasagna cook for?
I cooked the noodles, and everything in it is cooked except the cheese.

I basically want to heat it until the cheese is melted.

It is in a big cake pan.

Thanks! :hi:

2. About 45 minutes on 375, iirc
I use no-boil noodles, but I think that's the standard.

9. I use regular noodles but don't cook them ahead of time
I just put extra red wine in the sauce and cook the lasagna until the noodles are soft enough to cut.

4. Between one and five years before seeking employment as a professional chef
It takes that long for the lasagna to know its way around a kitchen, cook without using recipes, cook multiple dishes and coordinate all of the activities.

If I owned a restaurant, I'd want the lasagna to have cooked for at least one to five years as an assistant chef or in some other "apprentice" capacity before approaching me for a job.

6. Even though it seems like all the ingredients are pre-cooked ...
... so it should cook up fast, it doesn't. Especially if your lasagna is thick, you should plan on it taking an hour or more.

7. Good advice upthread.
A co-worker of mine just made one in a slow cooker. I wass amazed. All you have to do is cook the meat and sautee the onions etc.

You don't have to cook the noodles, just load it all in there in layers with the cheese. It was surprisingly good.

fastest? scoop out a serving size pile onto a microwave safe plate and nuke it }(

10. Everything is cooked. You just need to let the cheese get melty.
Like Midlo said, when the cheese is bubbling.
