About one mile from my home, returning from the market.

Guy to my left, in a SUV, rear-ended the shit out of the van in front of him, stopped at a red light (just like me).

Don;t know how or why it happened...brake failure, guy was drunk, who knows. But the guy in the van was sitting at a red light and black SUV to my left just...fucking...PLOWED him.

That sent the van in FRONT of me...to my RIGHT...and he missed clipping the front end of my car by about one foot.

Thank GOD.

I do not have the bandwidth to deal with car repairs and insurance companies right now, no matter WHO is at fault.

For the record, no one was injured. The van spun out of control and hit the curb three lanes over but the driver was OK.

2. That is why I try to keep as much distance from myself and other cars as possible.
You never know when something like that is going to happen.

Glad everyone was okay though.
