Anyone know of any good deals on laptops?

My trusty Acer is in decline... The case is cracked and the screen is showing signs of dying. But it's served me admirably for 2+ years, so no hard feelings. It's just time to retire it.

I'm not looking for anything gamer-level. Just a good, basic machine.

6. No...

I *might* be able to get a deal on a Dell through work, but probably not all that much of a discount. I've had one Dell laptop, and it was an unmitigated disaster. Maybe I'd give them another chance, though- it was years ago.
