1. They're remaking Hellraiser.
Clive Barker isn't involved, but he has given it his blessing. Take that for what it's worth. :)

3. i'll withhold judgment until i see who writes, directs and stars in it.
Hellraiser has held up ok, not great but it's still a good movie.

9. Pascal Laugier is the writer/director, best known for The Brotherhood of the Wolf.
Which was a fairly decent movie. There's some debate as to whether it's an actual remake, or a reboot of the series. I've heard both. It's scheduled for some time in 2011.

I love the first two in the series. The first one is a little more refined, whereas the second one is over the top (which is why I like it). The FX in the second one were wild.

Damn I love horror flicks. :)
