GPS Warning
My GPS somehow malfunctioned when I went to Ohio, and I ended up in Mexico City.

This is a WARNING to anyone using a GPS system: If you sense that you are several thousand miles from your planned destination, or you sense that you have driven to an entirely different country, shut off your GPS immediately and ask for directions at a gas station.

3. My GPS actually did malfunction today
it has the map with my little car and apparantly I was driving in a river (if it were to be believed). Fortunately after about 15 minutes of me guessing the right direction it finally realized I wasn't passing any fish.

5. I never look at the map...
My eyes are not the best, so I have to take my eyes off the road too long to look at the map. I use the second screen that has the trip statistics, and then just follow the voice commands.

Edited on Thu Jun-18-09 04:08 PM by charlie and algernon
a buddy and I did that, purposely turning in the opposite direction, to see if the GPS could adjust. We must've pissed it off 'cause it told us to take an immediate left... into the side of a hill.

14. I was driving into DC from NoVA a few months back, and the
GPS didn't like the way I was going, and after telling me to turn around and go another way, it gave up telling me, I was not listening to it, and shut itself down!

:wtf:

22. Your GPS must have locked onto this rogue satellite then...

Apparently the USAF are having problems with their first "new generation" GPS satellite.
