Drugs.. no problem

Due to someone scaring me I ain't took a Goody powder since my last NY blitz.

So.. I think I'll get contemporary and get me some Advil. It's an NSAID whatever the hell that is. I backed out and will stick to my Goodys.

Why can't drunks take whatever?

Something is in Goodys that evidently isn't for "drinkers"

Goody's Powder is an over-the-counter pain reliever, in powder form, marketed and sold by GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals. Goody's contains aspirin, caffeine, and acetaminophen, the same formula as Excedrin.

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, usually abbreviated to NSAIDs or NAIDs, are drugs with analgesic, antipyretic (lowering an elevated body temperature and relieving pain without impairing consciousness) and, in higher doses, with anti-inflammatory effects (reducing inflammation). The term "non-steroidal" is used to distinguish these drugs from steroids, which (among a broad range of other effects) have a similar eicosanoid-depressing, anti-inflammatory action.
