B-Side should-have-been hit singles
This one's off an album that's famous for a great hit single. The album- Golden Earring's Moontan. The hit everyone's heard- "Radar Love". The B-Side wonder nobody knows about- "Are You Receiving Me". It contains some of the greatest hard rock guitar work you'll ever hear. And dig the "simple" three note bass track that dominates the entire second movement. Sheer bliss.

Formed back in the mid 60s, Golden Earring still tours today.

4. Hey Hey What Can I Do
Released in 1970 as the B-side of "Immigrant Song." It's Zeppelin's only non-album track released during the band's existence.

7. REM has had some great b-sides
During their early days, they often included an oddball cover as a b-side on their singles:

"Toys In The Attic" ("Fall On Me" 12")
"Femme Fatale" ("Superman" 12")
"King of the Road" ("So. Central Rain" 7")
"Crazy" (the Pylon song, not Patsy Cline) ("Driver 8" 7")
"Burning Down" ("Wendell Gee" 7" and 12")

8. I remember when my sister bought "The Ballad of John and Yoko"
It was okay but I loved the B-side which my sisters hated and refused to listen to. I wanted to play it all the time.

"Old Brown Shoe"

13. Rolling Stones, "Child Of The Moon"
I'll never understand why that one began as (and remained) a B-Side. It's easily one of their best songs AND performances.
