Metro's disingenuous messages

If you haven't heard there was a horrible accident on the DC Metro this evening. I take the line that had the accident home, but on the opposite end of the line. My wife called to warn me and I checked the WMATA website and it says there are delays and one station is closed due to a mechanical malfunction. I'll fucking say. One train ran into the back of another and killed at least four people.
But trains are running on the section that I need to go home, so I go to my stop and the electronic signs say that trains are not running past Fort Totten(where the accident occurred) due to a "Police Action" WTF!! Damn Metro, Just tell the truth.

My sympathy to those who were killed and lets hope there aren't any more casualties.

One train was stopped and another going in the same direction plowed into the back of the stopped train.

Local news has now said 6 killed.
