What Was the Coolest Lunchbox You Ever Owned?
My dad was an original Trekkie, and this is what I got to carry in 3rd grade at Wallace Elementary in Dallas, Texas:

You remember your favorite?

7. Can't find a picture, but it was a blue
lunchbox with a white fleur de lis on it. I also had a Montreal Canadiens lunchbox, but stopped taking that one to school when it soon became clear that almost every other boy in class had the same one.

11. A paper bag for my scrambled egg sandwich....
And a pint bottle of whiskey, with the label steamed off, of course, for my milk...

Hey, they had screw tops...

Every Monday because we had communion mass for the second graders on Monday Morning at the early mass...

12. I had a Six Million Dollar Man lunchbox
The embossed graphics can't be beat. I can still smell the rust inside, cradling my sandwich like a big pillow of tetanus.

3rd grade I think. It was no lunchbox - it was an "orbital food container" :patriot:

14. I've never even seen an episode of that!
But, it was brought to us by the same team that gave us Thunderbirds Are Go and Space: 1999 :D

21. My son had a Dick Tracy lunchbox just after the
Warren Beatty movie.

I was working construction and borrowed the lunchbox once. My fellow workers started with the remarks and catcalls. I challenged them with the showstopper: "Smatta? You got something law enforcement?"

Boy! THAT put them in their place.

Hah!

25. I had one with the late David Carradine from "Kung Fu" on it

Something like this, but it had a big hand on the box (like a "Talk to the Hand" pose before its time) and I remember other kids making fun of the lunch box because the hand looked oversized in comparison to the rest of Carradine... those little brats knew so little about perspective!!
