Guys fess up!! Who had this poster in their bed room? And Girls - who attempted that hairstyle
Edited on Thu Jun-25-09 12:48 PM by LynneSin

Most of the guys I knew had that poster somewhere in their house (or owned a t-shirt with it on). And yes, I attempted a Farrah hairdo although my hair is so fine I'd kill a can of Aquanet to keep it in place.

1. OK, I tried the hairstyle, but it never worked for me. The funny thing
about your post is that my mother found that picture painted on a mirror at a yard sale and bought it because she thought it was pretty. It hung in her house for years and she wasn't one to hang much stuff on her wall for decoration.

2. That pinup was a little before my time...
(but only a little).

As for the hair- I did do a drag number with a pretty similar wig once.

3. The guy who printed that poster lives in this county.
He's a real nut job. I prosecuted two of his sons for trafficking in steroids and one of them for assaulting police officers.

5. I had thick long curly hair back then. She made it ok.
I couldn't quite get it like hers, mine would frizz sometimes, but it sure felt good not to have try to make it flat and straight all the time.

RIP Farrah.

6. I had very flippy, feathery hair in eighth and ninth grade.
EVERY female in my school did. I finally looked around and thought: "This is ridiculous." I let my hair grow to one length, but I was just about the only female without a Farrah "do" for a couple years. It was a pain in the ass to deal with -- lots of blow drying and curling irons. Some girls in my school would get up at 5 or 5:30 every day just to make sure they had enough time to do their hair. The school bathrooms were choked with hairspray clouds, too. x(

That being said, Rest In Peace, Farrah.
