weirdness of the day - who knows how the day will close out.

I don't feel one way or another about Micheal Jackson. Can't believe his death has taken over D.U., including the lounge.

remember during the primaries when they had that 3 post limit? yeah.

it cuts out spamming and folks have to consider what they post before they post it as to not waste one of the 3 for the day.

seems like it'd make the mods jobs a whole lot easier on days like this.

I've just lost patience with uncaring people.

ignore leaves me too curious.

But there's that immediate need for retribution that Ignore satisfies and Xing doesn't, really.

I do check to see if it's someone I would otherwise not want to ignore.

but with the multitude of threads being posted today, hide a thread lets me find the threads of interest while maintaining a manageable blood pressure.

just seems some folks like to make it more challenging than it needs to be.

It never hurts to thank them - they are much more patient than I am and I am not ashamed to admit to that fact.

What's funny/odd is that the nature of LBN is so clearly defined --new-news within 24 hrs, consolidation of dupes, locking of non-breaking things------that there are basically ONE Jacko thread and several superceded LOCKED Jacko threads-------while GD is FLOODED with all the Jacko threads, the ANTI-Jacko-thread threads, the copycatters, it's like GD is having a breakdown and letting its hair down and wants to be the LOUNGE!1

But the GD-P forum, I wish it could be converted into a SPECIAL EVENTS forum: Primaries during Primaries season, but then Tsunami forum when something like this happens. Jacko is not really that unusual, since GD went JUST as wild when that whassername, Anna Nicole person died.



On Edit: Actually, scrolling down Lounge, there are FEWER Jacko threads here than in GD!1
