I feel sorry for him. How the hell can you talk about a celebrity dying for hours? Don't they have others they can force to do it?

1. He probably has no choice
but to cover it, esp. if the powers that be tell him he must do it.
I think it deserves coverage for tonight, but I am sure it will go on for a few days.

7. Well, it's not even 8:30 here
The cable news channels have been all Jacko all the time.

8. I know - usually I watch Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow
Tonight I watched (sort of) some cooking shows then turned to CBS to watch The Mentalist at 10 and there was the thing about Farrah Fawcett. I should have looked for a science show or a movie.

6. He's a contemporary, that's probably it
There's nobody who is Jacko's age that hasn't been aware of his whole life to some degree, whether fan or not.

Keith probably is happy to do it, imho

10. the beat goes on
Hi,
I feel sorry for all the "news" anchors that have to go on and on and on about this and not have anything new to provide. First night in ages I didn't even turn it to MSNBC. I am glad I had some Weeds dvd to watch. Not sure what I will do the next few weeks or however long this lasts. Gives the corporate media a better opportunity to avoid talking about health care debate.

Peace

15. How did anyone
This really seems to me like a below the picture scroll line story, not a all the news all the night kinda story. I think I am getting rid of TV. This is rediculous.
