What a great evacuation plan..leave me be in the lab while there's a gas leak

So I was working in a small room off the lab when apparantly everyone ELSE was evacuated out because of an external gas leak. How did I finally get out? I heard an announcement over the intercom and thought...gee maybe not a good idea to be back here by myself with headphones on..I left and walked out to see a whole bunch of fire fighters sitting around in the lobby of our building. As I came back from the desk I ran into a coworker who said the labs were evacuated..I guess I got forgotten. Lovely.:eyes:
Did I mention I'm glad its Friday?!

8. welcome back!

I was allowed to sleep through a fire alarm once, lol. I was at a weekend retreat and we slept in cabins. Well it was snowy, so one guy had the genius idea to dry his shoes on the heater in the cabin. Of course I slept through the ensuing smoke and fire alarm. :eyes: I woke up after it all when I noticed the light was on and everyone was up and talking. haha
