he did Elvis as part of his act. And, he was post-death, anyway, if I have my dates right.....................

9. There weren't,
and I'm pretty sure of this.

The reason I think this is because I can't remember any, and it wasn't until after his death that it became easy - and acceptable - to spoof him (that's what it was) in the white sparkly jumpsuits and the the bulky bodies. He had become a caricature, so he was a perfect target for their cartoonish acts.

No one could ever have impersonated the thin, incredibly talented and handsome Elvis.......................

The original version not the remade one. They have a whole Elvis impersonation convention segment from London in it. The movie was from 1970.

23. The remake is good
But it cuts out some cool parts. Actually, a dear friend of mine is in that film and she is the one who told me about the picture of Elvis with that impersonator. I asked her who it was and she knew right off.
