Arrogant Bastard
My neighborhood grocery store (in BFEish TX)just started carrying it ! Praise be to Dionysus! I am enjoying each delectable sip!I am savoring each deliciously bitter drop of this hoppy ambrosia !

From the Bottle:
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or the sophistication to be able to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth. We would suggest that you stick to safer million dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you it’s made in a little brewery, or one that implies that their tasteless fizzy yellow beer will give you more sex appeal. Perhaps you think multi-million dollar ad campaigns make a beer taste better. Perhaps you’re mouthing your words as you read this.

1. That has to be one of the cleverist marketing campaigns I have seen
in quite some time.

2. Yeah I thought it would just be gimmicky but I really liked it
What amazes me the most is that I can buy at a grocery store in Bellmead TX(not the best place in the world for a beer snob) I usually have to go to the liquor store or drive into Waco to find better beer

3. I just go with Sam Adams. I have yet to have a bad beer from their brewery
and they offer such an incredible selection.

4. I love all of the Sams but did not enjoy the Blackberry Witbier
Sam Adams and Fireman's 4 (from Real Ale a small Central Texas brewery) are the best beers to pair with burgers.

5. One of my faves; be aware of the high alcohol and hops content.
Hops do get you high.

7. The stone brewery makes a lot of heavy hitters. I also recommend their IPA.
Also, be on the look-out for the occasional brewing of the gut-busting DOUBLE Bastard.

9. Disgusting stuff

Sorry. I love dark beer, and there are few beers in general that I hate, but it tastes like someone set Old Milwaukee on fire

13. Oh how wrong you are-
Great Lakes makes good beers but there is no comparison. New Glarus Fat Squirrel beats anything Great Lakes makes. IMHO.
