What is one good thing that happened to you this week?
I finally managed to have a break through with learning Adobe Flash, to build my website in hopes, of attracting new clients.

2. I just finished a e-commerce site for a friend/client of mine.
:D

It's the cleanest, most secure javascript and cookie free html strict site I've done yet. Even using apache rewrite to make good url awesomeness.

Flash? Confuses me to no end. x( I can't do flash.

I have a sick nephew. Received a phone call a while ago informing me that some tests have come back negative, and he does not have pancreatic cancer. We still don't know what's going on with him, but the odds of whatever it is being curable / operable, just increased by quite a bit.

my two mile morning walks, that is. This is after a 3 month ordeal with a torn meniscus. I had surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago. I was even able to run sprints at several intervals. I am amazed that I've progressed so well. Best thing is: very little pain.

Keep in mind, they had comparable used cars with 40k miles on them for the same price. Rental returns. And they had a promotion and a few discounts, which I qualified for...

2009 Ford Focus
4-door sedan, SES model
5-star safety rating (highest in its class)
DOHC 16 valve engine
Dashboard lights up blue
Floor lights up blue
Aluminium alloy wheels (16")
24/34MPH city/hwy. Highest in its class
Engine and transmission made in the USA
Auto-dimming rearview mirror

Not dissimilar to this one:

Really, that's a great deal. Great mileage. Outstanding price. I'm assuming 4 door; if so, you're going to prefer it. (I'm driving a different small car, but a 2 door hatch. Which means the back seat is a shelf, accessible by reaching back with one arm from the front seat. And otherwise, useless.)

OK, what color? Take delivery today?

Nice color on that car. I have a black top, which I though would be too hot, but I really don't notice the difference.

So. How does it drive?

56. How it drives...
Very smoothly.

It's got traction control.

No AWD, but I'm not noticing...

It'd turn on a dime.

Especially for the price I got (that's a lot of discounts), I got a lot of car and it feels VERY solid.

It is different to my old Subie, but I'll get used to the feel. If anything, I've to take more care to look behind me before turning. Smaller windows. Not by much, and the large side view mirrors do help compensate too.

55. Yup. 4 door. Almost bought the 2 door version until I found the Focus sales book with features...
believe it or not, the ability of the thing to flood the passenger comparement with soft, relaxing blue LED light piqued my interest and to find the model that had it all for not even $1000 more... including 4 doors, and the salesman was right: 4 is better.

Black color. Gloss black. Dirt aside, it's a very sleek car.

Aluminium alloy tires and their design is way cool (the holes look like diamonds).

Got 'er today.

I need to get undercoating done to prevent rusting (in my area, the salt and other chemicals used to melt snow are VERY harsh) but otherwise...

Only drove it home. Saturday afternoons are not the best for taking a new car out for a drive. I'll do that tomorrow...

Great dealer too...
