4. Not pre-Bond but mid-Bond.
Connery made Marnie after From Russia With Love (1963) and just before Goldfinger (1964). He was a big box office star by now and could pick his projects. He chose to work with Hitchcock. And yes, he's a honey.

My best friend in high school was named Marnie. Her mom loved this movie. Although I've seen most of Hitchcock's films this is one I've missed.
