Transformers: ROTF (Revenge of the Fallen)...what say you (possible spoilers)

I loved it...thought it was better than the first!
My 5 y/o almost peed his pants he was so excited!!!!!

Did not like

but as far as the story goes, they made it more of a comedy than the first ( with the RC twins and Mudflap and Skids ) the movie was more of a robotic version of Laurel and Hardy....I enjoyed it a great deal, being a guy who grew up with the Transformers....but there was some serious shit that needed to be explained away, and I didn't care for the portrayal of Soundwave ( piss-poor job there, Mr. Bay!!! piss poor and lazy! )

The action scenes at the beginning were okay. The fight in the forest was cool. Seeing Megatron and Starscream getting into it gave me warm nostalgia fuzzies. Shia was less annoying than in the first one, so that's a plus I guess... but other than that it was God awful.

Nothing but:

*screaming conversations
*Terrible jokes about farting, humping, and balls
*Logic holes you could drive a bus through
*One dimensional female characters there for nothing but masturbatory fantasies
*More terrible jokes about farting, humping, and balls
*EMBARRASSING "gangsta" robots with gold teeth that are supposed to be funny

I know it's an action movie. Hell, it's a MICHAEL BAY movie, so I shouldn't be expecting a best picture nominee. But shouldn't we ask for at least a bit more from our movies? Even our popcorn flicks?

No offense to you TC, but this movie was train wreck.

...IMO.

Standard Michael Bay fare.

And the fact that the plot was so flimsy.

But it's Bay. You know what you're getting going in.

I will say that at nearly two and a half hours it was FAR too long for a movie held together by nothing but explosions.
