8. Funny thing is, it was actually the phone number of my
parents' house when I was a kid. We were one of the last towns to get dial service in California. To place a call, you picked up the phone and the operator said, "Number, Please." I learned my home phone number at about age 2.

The number at my father's workplace was 8.

I'm a geezer...for sure.
