I tried looking it up on the net and I'm coming up empty. For as much as they process, it has to be a rather forgiving high-volume machine. Anyone know?

4. Super cool!
It is that spinning thing that strips the kernels off that I want to figure out. It was hard to tell from the video, but that was a neat thing! Thanks!

7. nice video... though "the product" sounds generic. Why can't they call it "corn"?

6. I saw a gadget in a Williams-Sonoma catalog the other day
for just that thing. Not for high volume of course.

I'm at work and can't access shopping sites, but you could find it in the latest catalog.

19. "As seen on TV" too, but if they are poorly made, they won't last, prompting a repurchase
Easy $$$$$$$$.

And grossly unsustainable.

11. I worked three years for Green Giant
during the "corn pack" (20+ years ago)

They had a special machine, called a cutter. I worked it a couple of times - it was a very messy and rather dangerous machine. It had a series of blades that would rotate, while the cob went through on a roller.
