Every now and again, you hear about an attack in So Cal or Arizona. They're out there.

2. you just can't believe the Discovery Channel and History Channel fear mongering

if you believed their shows, you'd think there were going to be huge swarms attacking people in Times Square and on the Washington Mall.

and the subject got changed to SARS, West Nile Virus, terra-ists, and most recently swine flu. Stay tuned for next month's scare to be announced.

I have had two bee-keepers tell me they are actually more resistant to various infections and they gladly collect hives. They ARE more aggressive (we were attacked a couple times) but unless you are an idiot they, like rattlesnakes are just part of the environment now and it's best not to mess with them if you don't know what you are doing.
