Buzz Ballads/Cuts got me thinking...
What other shit has Time/Life tried to pawn on us? I remember seeing a gazillion T/L commercials when I was a kid but I can't remember a single product.

1. Consider that a blessing.
The mind has an amazing capacity to filter out trivial unpleasant garbage. Sadly, some things are immune - like the theme song to "Gilligan's Island".

2. I remember alot of song collections
70's soft rock, hits of the 80's stuff like that. I actually thought that occasionally they offered some good stuff.
IIRC my dad ordered some of their stuff (The Platters, Simon and Garfunkel, stuff like that). And yes, go ahead and say it. I inherited my bad taste from him (I know the words to a whole bunch of John Denver cause of him):D

Shitty taste is a product of bad parenting.

6. "Simon and Garfunkel. Seals and Crofts. Loggins and Oates? This is great stuff - only a buck each!
What do you call this music again?" - Marge Simpson
"Crap rock?" - Bart
"Wuss rock!" - Homer
"That's it!" - Marge

7. And you know most of it was on 8 track tape too.....
My dad had one in his car and his house....I think anything that was on 8 track is by definition, cheesy...:)

8. "The World's Greatest Arias"...
I know it's vulgar and tacky, but I almost ordered that one. Opera with all of the boring parts left out.
