7. In the alternate universe that the Onion referenced, in which James
Hetfield is the employee of the month at an area Taco Bell, they have never jumped. But in our reality, it was the minute he threw off the apron and declared "I'm gonna start a band!"

That was too harsh. "One" was okay.

8. After Cliff Burton died.....
I liked Jason Newsted o.k., but he was I think a little too much of a fan of the band to be a member. This fed into the other guys egos.

I worshipped them from Kill 'Em All through Master of Puppets. Never bought And Justice... but enjoyed what I had heard off of it. The Black Album songs I heard all did nothing for me.
