Pics of my 12 week old niece. I met her for the first time last week, adorable!

My sister and her daughter visited last week from Boston and I got to meet little Deliah Rose for the first time. She's a great little buddha. She was overdue and actually was born on her mother's birthday! She's a serious and curious thing with great big paws and feet. I can already see the "Well, fuck you too." attitude that the entire family shares. It's a curious thing to think of this sister as a responsible mom. She was always the family hell-raiser. It's always weird when I realize that my sisters and I are grown-up. Time sneaks up on ya.

And now I'm the only member of this family that hasn't married and had kids. Pressure's on! :yoiks:

You'd think that whole baby grabbing your finger would be cliched by now but it isn't. It's always a "wow" moment.

She's perfect, and you're so lucky! Now you know that you folks make pretty babies.

Oh, at that age, they're still so cuddly and yummy and smell so good and they're just so OH! YUMMY!

I love babies, but Delilah is an especially yummy baby. Gorgeous little girl. That rosebud mouth and those great big blue eyes!!!

There is just something about babies, the way they feel, smell. When my sister first handed her to me, the first thing I did was take a big whiff off the top off her head.

I defy anyone to deny the goodness of babies at that age. Another thing I love is the curious look they give new things. They sort of cock their heads and give a look that like, "Oh my! What the hell is that?"

She has gorgeous eyes. She gets them from her big, blond Polish-American father.
