9. Finish cleaning the house
because I invited three co-workers and a retired co-worker over for dinner tonight.

Then tomorrow I have to cook and bake for our breakfasts and lunches through the week.

This morning I am so tired, sore and generally not feeling well all over that I don't know if it will all come off. I'm waiting a little while longer to see if the situation improves at all.

Good luck with the certs. And remember - think like how Microsoft does. Do NOT let fantasy like real life get in the way of answering those questions. And hope those at Microsoft, who write the tests, used proper grammar and sentence formation, and double-checked their own work before selling the tests, at (what was it, $200?) a pop, to customers.

I'd taken a couple, and then read up on the debate over "degree versus certification", hence going for a degree.

20. Work in the yard and garden
I think I can finally do it after breaking my elbow in June. I'm surprised the neighbors haven't gotten out the torches and pitchforks and stormed the house.

Do laundry, clean house. Already did the shopping.

Oh, and go to the pool. But that's not a chore...:D

Yesterday I tried to figure out what was wrong with my wifes car. After About 2 hours of chasing some crazy electrical problem, and getting nowhere, I took it to a shop. They fixed it in about 15 minuets and charged me $50. I also went to the license plate office a finished my day waiting in line. Today I ain't doing anything!!

god, I haven't ridden in a month. The cool hours are being used by various repairs and working cattle (which I do on foot) so I turned the bums out. Not that there is much green out there yet:eyes:

27. Yup
I've had her 7 weeks as of Thursday and it turns out she's a trail horse extraordinaire. Loves the trails, eats 'em up, totally bombproof. She'll go out on trails she's never seen, alone, and go all day if I'd let her. This from a horse that 2 months ago was at a racetrack.

Hit the jackpot with this one. :woohoo:

30. I was going to do a lot of shoppinjg..
I was going to go clothes shopping during Georgia's tax-free weekend, but the stores are packed. So I guess I will just wait until next weekend to spend money. I don't feel like fighting crowds in the stores.

33. My landline went down in a thunderstorm the night before last. Had to get it fixed.
At the same time my cable went down (whilst DUing no less), but it came back up on its own a couple of hours later. The phone apparently didn't. I didn't even realize it was out until a friend emailed me to call her once I "was off the damned phone." Fortunately, I have one of those "Magic Jack" gizmos, so I used that to call her, and found that anyone who called me was getting a busy signal. Phone guy showed up a couple of hours ago, and the phone works again.
