Terrell Owens & Donovan McNabb like a PB&J sammich?
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/afp/amfoot_nfl_eagles_owens

PHILADELPHIA, United States (AFP) - Terrell Owens said he and quarterback Donovan McNabb go together like "peanut butter and jelly." The Philadelphia Eagles hope that combination clicks for the next seven years.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but Owens received a signing bonus of more than 10 million dollars.

Owens supposedly lost his status as an unrestricted free agent when his agent, David Joseph, failed to void the final three years of his contract worth 17.7 million dollars by not getting the required paperwork in on time.

5. i think TO's attitude throughout the entire situation was childish
he and his agent are morons, and they're rewarded for their collective stupidity by making the NFL bend over backwards to suit his dumb ass.

10. The Arbitrator was going to rule in favor of Owens.
He had a legitimate bitch. The 49ers fucked up and he wanted his rights. The is no lose situation for everyone. T.O. goes where he wants, the Niners get a player where they would have gotten nothing and the Ravens get a free fifth rounder.

3. Wait until the season...
...the whining will start. Hopefully someone will crack TO in the mouth if he gets out of line.

Squeaky wheel gets the grease, eh?

its like dennis rodman playing for phil jackson - rodman had his problems, but jackson kept his ass in line.

7. Terrel Ownes could play for Lombardi for 15 years
he'd still be a whiney baby. As soon as Philly loses in the NFC Championship, again, watch TO whine and complain and bitch and moan. Terrel ran Jerry Rice out of San Fran, he's never going to have class.

Seriously, the NFC East will once again be the most competitive. All of the coaches (Coughlin/Parcells/Gibbs - respectively) would be all too happy to break TO's mouth.

18. Rodman respected Phil because he was a winner
Andy Reid's never won anything. TO is an undeniable talent, but a clubhouse cancer.

John Wooden said it best: "A player who makes a team great is more valuable than a great player."

TO is a great player, but is too much of a self-centered prima donna to make a team great.

9. I don't think the Philly fans will put up with a lot of TO's crap
They aren't going to put up with it I'd guess. Terell had his way in SF but the fans and the Philly media :eyes: are going to give him a rude awakening.

12. As a season ticket holder I am ecstatic.
This is what we need to get over the hump. T.O. is not only one of the three best receivers in the league, he also makes everyone else better by his presence. McNabb, Owens, Westbrook and 4th down Freddie. Make way for the steamroller.

14. Great news!
I don't think Terrell has to worry much about getting the ball here, and McNabb is classy, so I have hopes. I am excited about our offense, because Westbrook and Smith are other great weapons. I also think Reid is definitely harder on players privately than he is publicly. Now our only significant need is some veteran presence at CB, because Taylor presumably is also leaving.

16. More like a McNabb and shit sammich
Every time I think it is impossible for me to dislike Owens any more...he always does something to increase my disdain of him.

He is a major league asshole!
