Some horrid excuse for a person killed three trumpter swans

Thursday I drove back to Ann Arbor from Chelsea (12 miles west) on back roads and saw two beautiful trumpeter swans and their offspring standing at the side of the road next to a pond. It was such a lovely sight I thought about going back again this weekend just to look at them.

Then I found out last night that some piece of garbage shot and strangled them. Cruelty, just blatant cruelty. There can be no other explanation.
