Or at the very least, you should do a little dance for me. I'm up and I'm in the mood to appreciate any offering.

??? Vid? Poem? Song? Pic?

5. No one sleeps when I'm awake
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BobiHklrO4

I've seen people losing all of their faith
Before they knew what they were looking for
I swore I'd never ever do it again, 'til this day
Words are all I have, to give, to you
You never seem to see it my way
Standing in the shadows I hear, people say
I got confessions to make, listen up!
No one sleeps when I'm awake

The dreams I dream the song I sing for you
they're coming from my heart
Is my message getting through?
You know it hurts so bad just like I knew that it would
but I'd do it again, do it again if I could
Do it again if I could

I don't think you know what it's like
You should be careful what you're wishing for
and try to set your ego aside, you will find
A false peace of mind
You fall, behind and everybody's getting tired of you
Standing in the shadows I hear, people say
I got confessions to make, listen up!
No one sleeps when I'm awake

Hey, Hey, Hey I want you to know, know, know, know
Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey

'Cause the dreams that I dream and the songs that I sing
When I lost myself it had a different meaning
Shut down and closed imagine all of those
Hundreds of dreams taking place around you

It hurt so bad just like I knew that it would
But I'd do it again, do it again if I could
But I'd do it again, do it again if I could
I'd do it again, I'd do it again, I'd do it again
I'd do it again if I could

8. I like the lyrics.
The music reminds me of my college days and thereafter so I'm either entertained or sadly recalling my youth... :D

9. Well, don't be sad
I'm not exactly a whippersnapper, either, but I really like some of the new alternative rock coming out now days. And I think you are right. There is definitley an influence there from earlier times.

I can't help but crank up that tune when I driving down the road. I bought the album without hearing any other songs from and it sounds like a good purchase.

10. I'm not sad.
Sometimes I succumb to lyrics but tonight I'm hanging onto jason mraz's "Lucky" for which I will not post a link because everybody is bored to tears with my optimism. Or what the hell, any excuse to listen to this stupid happiness again:

:)

I'm a happy person right now. You can be optimistic all you want as far as I'm concerned.

12. It doesn't really pertain to my life.
It's my hope. I get tired of the doom and gloom, you know? I'm happy that you're happy

13. I know what you mean
I lived a long time thinking that the world was going to end at any minute, and I've also run across a lot of people who have that same mentality. But, in my case, I was worried about a lot of things that were beyond my control. I've also come to realize that a lot of the "doomers" aren't much different than a fundie praying for Armageddon.

I wish it worked for me.

In any event, cheers to you. It's good to be happy, no?

15. With a little looking around, yes.
The world isn't going to end anytime soon. The financial crisis, energy costs, wars, what kind of beer Obama likes- there's nothing I can do. And these times will pass and good times will be here again. In my personal life I'm doing really good right now, too. That helps make a person happy.
