So last night I had to rescue my cat from the top of my bedroom door....
In order to keep my door from being accidently shut by this same cat, I have a piece of luggage pushed up agaisnt it. She often sits on it. Well last night she saw something on the top of the door that interested her. Somehow she clawed/jumped up to the top of the door. Don't ask me how she managed it..it was 6 ft up and smooth to boot. She was really scared when she got up there and found herself on a very narrow perch..I took a quick picture because I was so amazed that she got up there....

I dragged a chair in and gently reached up and got her down..after I disloged her hind claws from the door...she was scared. Oy. CATS!!! :banghead:

2. Is she part Siamese?
Siamese are known to have a strong affinity for high places. And of course, the loud, insistent meow.

3. No both of them look like either Russian Blue or Chartreux
And oddly its her sister, Smokie that usually finds the high spots...Plus both of them have these soft little meows..they aren't big talkers...They chirp and purr more than meow....

my cat decided that everything sitting on a surface in my room needed to be on the floor. At 3 a.m.

5. reading this thread is making me glad my cat is lazy
No climbing doors or throwing stuff for her. The worse thing she does is when I catch her trying to scratch the couch.
