Any Werner Herzog fans here?
I just watched "Little Dieter Needs to Fly." What a cool movie. I watched a bunch of his films over the weekend. A true genius.

2. One of my all-time favorites.
Kinski was brilliant in that, wasn't he?

7. If you have not yet seen the magnificent "Nosferatu" with Kinski,
note that there are two versions- one in German with English subtitles, and one in English (!). The dialogue is slightly different. IIRC, one joke is lost completely in one version. Could be wrong. See both, because it's Herzog :)

Enjoy!

8. Sure I've seen it.
I heard he did a scene by scene copy of the original silent film. Kinski is creepy as ever. I've seen a lot of his films. But he's made a ton of them, so it's going to take some time to see them all.

10. It's very close, but is missing the (original's) creepy horse and carriage scene.
It might be the earliest example of stop-motion animation ever done, I'm not certain...
