1. I'll go see it at the cheapest theatre in the area.
I like movies where I can turn my brain off for a while (thought the last two I've seen made me think a lot), and "G.I. Joe" looks like one of those where I can switch off the old thinker and just enjoy lots of stuff getting blowed up real good.

3. That's what DVD's are for!
"lots of stuff getting blowed up real good" :D Now I have a bruise from falling off my chair laughing. Except this is GI Joe! They blowed up lots of shit, used more ammo than WW2, yet no one ever got shot!

22. That may actually be a really good action movie.
Based a lot on apartheid-era South Africa.

4. Going to a midnight showing tonight. Yo Joe!
I don't have high hopes for the movie but I'm a diehard Snake-Eyes fan and I'm hoping they got him right. He's being played by Ray Park and that's a good sign.

9. Yes, even though there's a 99.9% chance it will rape my fondest childhood memories...
Sigh... I'm not paying $10 to see it in the theaters though.

This and the new Transformers movie for $7.50, BYO drinks/chips. I'll see it this weekend, weather permitting. My kids in South Dakota and I don't have anybody of the feminine persuasion to distact me ( :-( ) so why not?
