A disturbing thing noticed at work...
It's finally dawned on me that my co-workers have a disturbing habit of swiping sections of the newspaper, disappearing into the bathroom with them (usually the one separate bathroom with its own sink...and a 2nd chair for the paper!) and then returning the newspaper to the lunchroom table.

Is it me or is this disturbingly unhygienic? They're depositing paper covered with aerosolized feces and urine on the table where we eat.:puke: Who knows about their hand washing habits...some are lax, I've observed.

1. Would you rather they just poop on the lunchroom table?

4. Perhaps
At least then the problem would be very visible.

2. Maybe you need a paper just for the bathroom.
I sure wouldn't read the paper at lunch.

7. You joke, but there was a woman who did that at my office. The women's room had a
"lounge" area, which consisted of a weird little sofa and end table on one end of the bathroom separated from the stalls by a half wall. This woman would not only eat her lunch in there, but then she'd turn off most of the lights and TAKE A FREAKING NAP on the sofa. :puke:

We had a cafeteria in our building. It was hideous but at least you didn't have to eat your lunch 3 feet away from where people were shitting. I never understood that one.

5. OHmygawd. I thought I was alone.....
There used to be a guy at work (at least one) that would do this exact thing all the time, come back and put it back in the LUNCH room. BUT I was the only one grossed-out!!! No one else seemed to be bothered. Ewwwwwwwwwwww (p.s. you said lax.... no pun....?)

8. I read on the john. I don't spray the book with piss or shit.
Check out the paper, if there are stains throw it away.
