Two years cancer free
Today is the anniversary of my surgery to remove my kidney. I feel great and happy to be alive.

6. I am very fortunate to have very good insurance
and hope that soon everyone has coverage.
I'm very aware of how lucky I am to not have put my family in major debt. I also lucky that I was able to have the surgeon who helped develop the procedure perform my operation.

31. Congratulations!! I found out on 6/5 that I have cancer
A sarcoma. So far this summer I've had a hysterectomy (6/5) and removal of my right kidney ( 7/16) Today I saw my surgeon who took out the kidney. He's very satisfied with how well I am healing and is going to urge my oncologist to begin chemo sooner rather than later as my cancer is very aggressive.

Please pray for me.
